Kids club, researching, office tasks (if they can be done outside regular business hours as I work full time). I could also help with events as needed.
Avid knitter/crocheter/spinner, and I’ve been an admin assistant for nearly 30 years. I also used to work as a tour guide at Graceland, but that’s been some time ago ;).

I'm a retired school teacher, very friendly and great communicator and really enjoy talking to people. I live just a few miles away in Lakewood and I see the sign outside the museum that says docent opportunities. I would be interested in something along those lines.
Since I retired from teaching back in 2005 I have build a successful freelance academic writing career writing indexes for the back of academic/scholarly books. I'm a great researcher, and, as descbied above, I am very friendly and a great communicator. I can help in a variety of ways though interacting with others is my favorite activity. I'd be good as a docent, with chidlren's activities (I was an upper elementary grades-middle school teacher), and historical projects.

Community events such as Christmas at the Orr House. Assisting as a docent with the Museum or Orr House. Participating in children's activities, historical projects such as research, or office/filing work.
I have singing abilities and musical knowledge from ten years of taking piano along with participating in choirs. I am adept at writing and much of my studies at college were in history. The subject of history has always held an attraction for me, and I am familiar with research, archiving, and office work through my work study duties in the Arts and Sciences department of my college including history-related projects that the history professor would request me to assist with proof-reading and scanning. I enjoy interacting among people, creating an entertaining time for them, and anticipating their needs and meeting them swiftly. I am friendly and comfortable with many age groups and work cooperatively and easily with others. An additional interest that I enjoy is cooking and baking and combining it with my eagerness to brighten life for those around me.

I would; like to volunteer with the Education Committee and as a docent at the museum.
I currently work part-time as an Educator for the Military Child Education Coalition as an instructor trainer. I deliver in-person and virtual bilingual (English/Spanish) workshops for military parents. The skills I have developed in this position might help the Education and the Docent Committees.
